Connie has been with us since 1976, working almost from the very beginning of the business with Dr.James Bostic. Connie has seen many of the same clients that have been with us for the past 20 to 30 years or more and the clients enjoy seeing her face year after year. Connie does have a few hobbies other than her job, she absolutely loves to plant and grow flowers and work on her yard. Connie does have a Rat Terrier named Kakkie, and a feral Cat named George she adopted as much as he would allow 7 years ago.
Kelly started working here in 2015 as a veterinary assistant then moved to receptionist shortly thereafter. Kelly and her husband Jeremy have 3 dogs: a pitbull "Rocky", a beagle "Teddy," and a poodle named "Cupcake." Kelly is very passionate about animals and feels that life would be very empty without them in our lives. Kelly and Jeremy enjoy hiking, camping and canoeing with their dogs. They hope one day to get more land to grow their 4-legged family.
Stacy started working with us as a Veterinary Assistant in 2006 and worked her way up to Receptionist. She has also earned the distinguished title of "Dog Whisperer" for her way of calming our aggitated pets down. Stacy adopted a Chihuahua named Misty that would have been euthanized with her many medical conditions, as she is blind and diabetic, but Stacy fell in love with that sweet face and was willing to take the challenge on and Misty gives her kisses everyday to thank her.
Emily started working for Bostic Veterinary Hospital in 2016 as intern to become a veterinarian technician. She fell in love with the employees and the challenging but rewarding work at Bostic, so she decided to join our team. Emily has one golden retriever named Ellie, who is energetic and loves to play soccer any chance she gets. When Emily is not at work, she enjoys kayaking, sipping on a good cup of coffee, and traveling.
Diana started with us in 2017 as a student at Animal Behavior College. After receiving her certificate as a veterinary assistant, she joined our team as a part-time and eventually full-time employee. She has two little maltese dogs that she loves.
Tammy started with us in 1997 as a Veterinary Assistant in the back of the hospital, and eventually got promoted to the front of the hospital being the doctors right hand woman in the exam rooms. Tammy is married to Chris and they have 2 sons, who play in a band, called Pyramid, which Tammy and her husband make sure to attend every show. Tammy also has a dog named Jordan who is 14 years old wearing what the Learning Channel calls a bionic leg. This brace has been a godsend for Jordan.
We found Dawn through a temp agency in 2012 and as you can see she worked out so well we hired her. Dawn served in the military for 20 years so she really does enjoy speaking with our military clients. Dawn and her husband share their home with 2 Jack Russell Terriers and a handsome black cat. One of their Jack Russells is named Jack, guess they didn't want to think too hard about the name, followed them home and that's how he came to live with them. Then they felt he needed a buddy so they adopted Rider and now they have a happy family.
Nicole first started with us part-time in 1996 and went full-time with us in 1998. Nicole is married to Donald and they have 1 son. The family is very active in boy scouts whether hiking the Appalacian trail or camping out. Spending time in her enchanted garden growing food or watching the wildlife brings her peace and happiness. Nicole is a licensed Veterinary Technician but as the years went by she found a greater fondness for grooming and decided to focus her attention there.
